Sightseeing
Skyview
If you get a break in between tournament matches, jackpots and side events - why not take the opportunity to
ride in the SkyView? The lift will take you up along the outside of the Globe and from the top, at 130 metres
above sea level, you can enjoy an amazing view of the city of Stockholm.

The Old Town
Go for a walk in the Old Town, the oldest part of Stockholm with its narrow streets and buildings dating from the
16th century. In the Old Town you can also visit the Royal Palace. By metro it takes only 12 minutes to get to the
Old town from The Ericsson Globe.
Shopping
If you’re into shopping, Stockholm has a lot to offer. The Globen Shopping centre lies in close proximity to the hotel. There you will find most major clothing chains as well as some smaller shops.
Stockholm by night
If you want to combine Swedish Open 2010 with a night on the town, it only takes 5 minutes to get to Medborgarplatsen
on Södermalm. Medborgarplatsen is one of the most popular meeting places for those wanting to enjoy the Stockholm
nightlife. Either visit one of the restaurants and pubs on the square or enjoy the pubs and bars on Götgatan,
one of Södermalm’s busiest streets.
If you would rather rub shoulders with celebrities in the very centre of the
city, then take the metro to Östermalmstorg or Kungsträdgården, which will only take you 20 minutes.
Transportation
It is very easy to get to and from the Ericsson Globe by metro. During the weekend the metro runs all night.
